The 8th World Congress will provide a unique opportunity for all participants to learn from educational experts who have successfully implemented 4-year longitudinal curricula, and develop an understanding about what to teach, how to teach, assessment methods, and where in the curricula to seamlessly integrate ultrasound in line with LCME standards. Curriculum development and implementation will encompass all aspects of POCUS, from ultrasound applications in microgravity to undergraduate, graduate and global health applications. This will provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with experts and develop ways to begin similar programs at any educational level.

PSYCHOMOTOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT

The 8th World Congress will provide a unique opportunity for educators and learners to interact, and to develop the necessary skills to be able to teach any group of learners. Conference attendees will be exposed to proven methods of POCUS applications at any site of care from the undergraduate, outpatient, in-patient including ICUs. This will also include fun activities amongst medical students from various institutions to showcase their ultrasound skills in the well anticipated student world cup competition. This will include an Ultrasound Jeopardy and Lightening round to eventually crown the wining team.
